Assembly. Most furniture arrives flat-packed with instructions and fittings included. Check you have every part before you start, work on a soft surface to protect finishes, and leave all fixings finger-tight until the frame is square — then tighten fully.
If a part is missing or damaged. Stop, and email us with the order number and the part reference from the instructions. Do not force or modify a part.
Timber. Dust with a dry or barely damp cloth. Avoid standing water, direct heat and prolonged direct sunlight, which fades and can split timber. Use mats under hot or wet items.
Upholstery. Vacuum regularly with a brush attachment. Plump and rotate cushions so they wear evenly. Blot spills immediately — never rub. Check the care label before using any cleaning product, and test it somewhere hidden first.
Metal and glass. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners on coated metal.
Rattan and garden furniture. Rinse with clean water and let it dry fully. Store or cover it over winter — leaving furniture out in frost shortens its life and is not a manufacturing fault.
Mattresses. Rotate as the label directs. Allow a new mattress to air for a few hours after unwrapping.
