Warranty and guarantee

Your statutory rights come first. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you have a remedy against us regardless of any manufacturer warranty.

How long. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland you may bring a claim for up to six years from purchase (five years in Scotland) where goods have not lasted a reasonable time. That is not a six-year guarantee against wear — it is a time limit for claiming that something was faulty.

Manufacturer warranties. Where a manufacturer offers its own warranty, the term is stated on that product page. Where no warranty is stated, none is offered and your statutory rights apply.

What is not a fault. Fair wear and tear; variation in the colour, grain or knot pattern of natural timber; slight variation between fabric batches; settling of foam and fillings with use; and damage from misuse, accident, or failure to follow the care guidance.
