This policy explains your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Your right to cancel. You may cancel for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive the goods. You do not have to give a reason.
How to cancel. Email support@2ndstimearound.co.uk with your order number and say you are cancelling. A clear statement is enough — you can use the wording below if you prefer.
"I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract of sale of the following goods: [item], ordered on [date], order number [number], name and address [yours]."
Returning the goods. Send them back within 14 days of telling us. You pay the return cost for a change-of-mind cancellation. For larger furniture we can book a collection and deduct the actual carrier cost from your refund — we will confirm that cost in writing first.
Condition. You may handle the goods as you would in a shop. If they are handled beyond that and their value is reduced, we may deduct that reduction.
Your refund. Made to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods back, or of you supplying proof of posting, whichever is sooner.
Faulty goods are different. If the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, see our returns and refunds page — you have longer, and we pay the return.
