Independent Reclining for Two
The Fernsby 2 Seater Manual Recliner gives both occupants full independent control over their reclining position — activated by a simple pull-handle on each seat, with no shared mechanism and no compromise.
At 155cm wide, it provides generous two-seat reclining without dominating the room, and the deeply cushioned back, arms and seat create an enveloping comfort that makes it easy to settle in for the long haul. The chunky woven polyester fabric reinforces that sense of substance and warmth.
Colour for Every Living Room
Grey is the most adaptable of the two colourways — its mid-tone works across a wide range of interior palettes from cool and contemporary to warmer, more traditional schemes.
Natural brings a cream warmth that feels particularly at home in lighter, Scandinavian-influenced rooms or coastal settings, and pairs beautifully with natural wood tones, rattan, and linen accessories. Both share the same thick woven texture that adds visual depth at any distance.
Lasting Comfort in Every Seat
The layered seat filling — pocket springs, foam and fibre — is designed to deliver that immediately satisfying sit that also holds up over years of regular use. The tall 105cm back provides genuine support for the head and neck in the reclined position, which makes a noticeable difference for extended reclining.
The Fernsby 2 Seater pairs naturally with the matching armchair and 3 seater for a complete suite. Explore our full manual recliner sofas and chairs collection, or browse our wider reclining sofas range.
Sofa Care
Your sofa cushion bears the brunt of day-to-day use, you make your bed daily and your sofa needs the same attention. In order to keep them looking and feeling at their best, we recommend the following:
- Cushions tend to flatten over time, this is a normal part of wear and tear. By plumping your sofa cushions regularly, you can extend their life and keep them looking fuller for longer. Foam cushions require plumping at least once a week. Fibre cushions require more frequent attention to keep them looking their best, we recommend daily.
- Vacuum regularly to remove dust using a brush attachment. Clean the fabric with a damp cloth if necessary. Do not over-wet the fabric and allow it to dry fully before use. Do not use strong liquid cleaners. Test any cleaning products on an inconspicuous area first. We recommend professional cleaning of all cushion covers.
Why this one
We don't list a catalogue. Every piece here was picked from Britain's best-seller data, so this is furniture people are already buying — not something a supplier wanted to shift.
Measurements are on this page. Before ordering anything large, check it through your doorways and stairwell — our measuring and access guide takes five minutes and prevents most delivery problems.
What you're paying
The struck-through figure is what this piece sells for at other UK retailers — not a former price of ours. How our pricing works.
